Working principle of DC electromagnetic lock

DC electromagnetic locks operate on the same principle as electromagnets, generating a strong attraction through the electromagnetism effect. When current flows through the silicon steel sheet, the electromagnetic lock generates a powerful attraction, tightly holding the metal plate and thus locking the door. This type of lock relies on an access control system for control. Once the person's identity is verified, the system cuts off the power, the electromagnetic lock's attraction disappears, and the door can be opened. Due to its simple structure, lacking complex mechanical parts and a bolt, electromagnetic locks are ideal for controlling escape doors and fire doors. Furthermore, its internal structure is protected by epoxy resin, further enhancing its durability.

DC electromagnetic locks generate a strong attraction through current in the silicon steel sheet, which attracts the metal plate to achieve the locking function. Its working principle relies on the electromagnetism effect.

Access control systems, combined with DC electromagnetic locks, verify identity and then cut off the power, causing the attraction to disappear and allowing the door to open. This simple lock is suitable for controlling escape doors and fire doors.
